I'm amazed that this bug has impacted seemingly so many big name projects.

I had not heard about this cert expiration happening until today, and I'm part of a fairly small development team. But I feel like I'm in good company when Electron and a ton of other companies [1] had issues:

I had my cert expire in my personal server because I forgot to setup a workaround for renewal (my isp blocks every port such as 443, 80, 25, etc).

I couldn't access any of my services because cert was expired.

Pulling from Sourcehut broke earlier today, through no fault of their own. Upgrading the ca-certificates package downloaded and installed but didn't properly configure the new root cert so a number of sites were broken for me all of a sudden today.
