I used to give all new managers at Cloudflare Daniel Pink’s book “Drive.” Summary of a bunch of interesting research on what really motivates people.

That’s a good one. Also we gave everyone a copy of “Give and Take” by Grant at one point. And I buy anyone a copy of “On Writing Well” by Zinsser.

Actually, I bought it right after you told me about it! It’s super interesting and I learned a lot from it
