No, it is already fast enough. It is just a VM, it can't be much faster than it already is.

For CPU and disk, sure, but GPU is the next frontier, and WSL on Win 11 allows the GPU to be used will full hardware accelerated OpenGL. Microsoft's own documentation even suggests installing Chrome for Linux inside WSL:
