Show HN: Val - A powerful static and dynamic programming language(val-lang.org)

We’re Ivan and Hisham from Geneva (Switzerland). We have been working on a radically new programming language called Val for a couple of months now. Val language is a static language with a compile-time dynamic language called Valet. Think writing Python/Ruby/JS to generate C/Rust for quickly building Web, AI, Data-Intensive, and Low-Level applications.
It all started with our current project, an online funding platform for open-source projects. Think Kickstarter with a new business model. To seamlessly integrating all platform layers (web, business, and low-level systems), we needed a language to manage our heterogeneous solution that matched the requested performance and reliability levels. Mixing multiple languages in distributed environments at large scale is not a good strategy to create reliable systems.
Val is what you would have designed if you weren’t constrained by legacy code or backward compatibility. Val lets you first elegantly express your domain-specific knowledge to then map it into a robust implementation.
We have extensive experience delivering a broad range of systems, from embedded systems to financial platforms like blockchain.
We are at the beginning of our journey. Feedbacks, ideas, suggestions are highly appreciated.
The documentation is here to give you a glimpse of Val. We are looking to raise funds for our funding platform, and we need to clarify some points before publishing the source code.
You can already sponsor our project [4].
Thanks all!

Personally, I'd prefer to use existing stable language like D language with excellent CTFE support to create a dynamic language but then that's just me.
For an excellent language that support both dynamic and static language please check Stanza language [1]. It's now powering the electronic design startup JITX (YC S18).
p/s: the naming duo for Val and Valet is also cool, like chip and chiplet concept
We will update it when possible ;).
I've switched it back on the current submission.
