Game doesn't seem to be doing much, but I know from experience that making funny faces works. My son often tried to unlock my phone by holding it in front of my face, and if I quickly pull a funny face, it fails. If I'm too late, it unlocks.
Does it matter when face masks completely cripple facial recognition and are much more acceptable than walking around looking like you have muscle control disorders?

Yep.. a more sophisticated face detection tech would be able to predict how someone's funny face looks like. Maybe that's what this is training for.
