Ah, looks like HN discovered our Introduction sheet was publicly editable and had some fun there: https://github.com/nalinbhardwaj/shiit-coin/issues/2

> Similarly, coinbase reward is fixed at constant 500 ShiitCoin per block mined, and doesn't adjust over time

It doesn't really need to adjust over time. It doesn't need to be capped [1].

One blockchain has 1 minute block interval with a fixed 60 coin reward which translates to one coin per second forever.

To the moon!

Missed opportunity: sheetcoin

The project is literally called ShiitCoin, with two i's.

Very neat. IIUC, each user gets some private cells, and "Daddy Google" does the sync.

Off topic:

How hard is it to just clone ETH, change the master key, (do we even need to re-compile?) and have new blockchain?

Surely there is a SaaS for that

having a fresh blockchain is easy, getting anyone else to care is the hard part

Just curious why using a user’s own sheet wasn’t useful for managing the private key versus the secondary website.

That was a good chuckle. I immediately shared with friends. Thank you for this moment of happiness.

haha!! amazing

lol somebody down voted me. i guess i’m not allowed to publicly laugh at a joke? or maybe some just really hates anything about blockchain? seems like they should also be laughing at how this makes fun of it

HODL!

How can I buy please

Head to Shiitcoin.com

A fantastic new way to waste electricity? I wasn’t aware we needed that.
