Graphhopper: An open source routing library and server using OpenStreetMap

OSM is the geographic database projects can build on. Graphhopper is a routing engine so it can offer rerouting and time estimation, the problem often is the (free) availability of live traffic data.

I’m happily using https://www.magicearth.com which does offer both in a nice app, the map data is based on OpenStreetMap.

The README says this:

> Other map data will need a custom import procedure, see e.g. Ordnance Survey, Shapefile like ESRI or Navteq.
