Birth of the Internet Plaque (2016)

I can imagine this plaque sitting somewhere in a corner of a less-visited part of a future museum. I'm thinking hundreds or one thousand years from now. Its significance not fully appreciated by the people walking or hovering by.

Today's internet may become a historical curiosity and one of the precursors to whatever interconnectivity exists at that time. Hopefully their 'inter net' is not plagued with the mistakes that we made.

Maybe my comment here will be posted right next to the plaque as a reflection of social sentiment. In which case, hello future people! Sorry about the heat.
