Ex-Crew Dragon project lead reveals stark differences between SpaceX and NASA

As much as I dislike pointless bureaucracy, I'm not sure it's a fair comparison.

The Space Shuttle was a far more complex and expensive machine, which also required compromises to accomodate the requirements of the military (for budget sharing) and to spread the work among several states for political reasons.

Still, I can see how liberating it felt for Mr. Reisman.
