ReMarkable E-Ink Tablet Considering Subscription Plan

Was about to get one of these but if they are planning a Subscription service I'll be looking elsewhere.

I am the same. I have been itching to buy one but no thanks. I don't need yet another subscription service.

Also was about to buy one but this changes everything. A pity.

I wanted one of these anyways:

Please no. I just want to buy a device...

I have the Boox Note 3 and it's fantastic. No subscription required
