My thoughts exactly. Without any real reporting of why these hacktivists are doing this (beyond the lulz), it comes across one-sided.

Meh. Weak, and ending by trying to conflate Anon/Lulz with China's wholesale theft of industrial data is flimsy.

I've never read a satisfying article from someone outside the tech community about these topics. It shouldn't sound arrogant, but they just don't get it. I don't blame them for not understanding it, but i blame them for writing about it like they do.

There are good tech sites out there so why upvote The Economist here.
