Some people would prefer to be asked about heavy job-related stuff e.g frameworks, kubernetes, real-life problems
Some people would rather challenge themselves against foundational knowledge e.g because for them it may be faster to do 1-2 algo tasks or it being technology agnostic
Some people would rather try designing systems, operate at higher abstractions levels instead of typing code

I personally believe that I'd rather see security questions than algo/ds questions cuz poorly performing algo can always be rewritten, meanwhile leak cannot be reverted, but I'm aware that shitton of people would hate that
How to match "interview kind" to candidate? maybe ask them which they prefer, I guess?
but it assumes that you have people capable of performing this kinds of interview and you want to "enable" this person to peak
