The CRPG Book Project: Three Years Later

If this interests you, you'll love the CRPG Addict [0]. The guy is well on his way through his mission to play, and document, every CRPG ever made. Always a fun read.

I have been following this guy since 2010 and I have to say this is a fantastic project to read!

Excellent suggestion!

The articles from Felipe are also worth a read, especially to get perspective on RPGs outside of the usual markets of Japan/US/Europe

thanks for the discovery

ExoDos has provided a similar effort[0] on a lot of the most famous game studios of the 80s and 90s. Well worth a read, I myself printed it out enjoyed it immensely.

I am an owner of the hardcover copy of the book as I am a huge fan of the site. The book is as detailed as the site itself and is a delight to read as a CRPG fan.

Yes, my two favorite gaming hardcover books are that book and The Art of Point-and-Click Adventure Games

I discovered a lot of great old games thanks to this book (I read the PDF). I recommend it for anyone interested in CRPG.

Bought the hardback book from bitmap books definitively recommend it.
