Website Image Display System (help)

Hey all,

Asking for some insight/advice here. For my job, I need an image display system that features expandable thumbnails. Once the thumbnails are expanded, there needs to be the possibility to comment on the image and "like" it (or something along those lines). The "like" needs to be part of a rating system that displays the more popular images at the top of the page. A 4x4 thumbnail layout is desirable and possibly a geographic tag feature for each thumbnail image as well. I've been exploring a few options and it seems like jquery is quite popular, but I was curious to see if anyone knew of an existing product that was user friendly (or just had any advice or insight).

I really appreciate any help offered!

Thanks!
