Main finding is that, yes, the risk of cardiac complications in minors seems higher taking the vaccine than not(1). However, they appear all to be minor, transient complications, even when they require a hospital visit (i.e., for monitoring). Whereas the risk of COVID is, obviously, death.
(1) I call out seems because cardiac issues are not usually looked for in minors until/unless they become severe. There is likely more alarm and concern over the recently vaccinated, leading to higher incidents of follow up, and thus, detection, than in the unvaccinated population of years past.
