Comcast flaw could have turned remotes into listening devices

I just unplug my TV and all of it’s peripherals when they’re not in use. When I turn it off, it consumes electricity, remains partially illuminated, and pretends to be off like it’s a zombie tv that refuses to die.

I remember thinking "why the hell would I want voice control on my tv remote?" And truth be told, it's actually really convenient the 2 or 3 times I watch tv in a year. Of course any modern convenience nowadays means someone is probably spying on you because of it.
