The "minority status" stuff seems fine in the grand scheme of adult world... people are fairly predictable passed a certain age (based off generation/origin). The generalizations obviously punch down on people who never really fit in with their "political identity", but misfits have never had it great.

With kids though!? It's so misguided. You don't know who they're gonna be.
