Is Erlang still relevant?
Many other languages now have both language features and libraries/frameworks for doing similar things to Erlang's main selling points.
Languages that are easier to work with for most, e.g. syntax wise, better tooling, etc.
I see little reason to pick Erlang for any greenfield project.
