LLVM does have an m68k backend, and there's an open PR on rustc to add it https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/88321

Oh cool did they finally finish that? Time to get buildin' (I only use rust in my hobby so unfortunately it has to take a backseat a lot of the time)
