Disgraced Theranos founder will blame ‘abusive’ ex-boyfriend in fraud trial

The elephant in the room: I have a fear because she is white, female, young and manipulative she will get a much less harsh sentence.

I hope the jury sees past that and brings justice where justice is deserved, and sets a precedent for anyone in the future looking to emulate Holmes.

First off, I want to say that I am sorry to any survivors of abuse that have to see this.

Being "physically present in the CEO's office when you're the president is considered abusive now?

Corp exec: "I'm in charge." "People do what I tell them." "Pay me."

Prosecutor: "You've committed a felony."

Corp exec: "Someone made me do it."

My feeling is that hard proof around wire-fraud will be sufficient for her to be found guilty.

A real eye-opener on who Elizabeth Holmes really is. It's not even surprising that she'd try to blame it all on somebody else.

I don't know much about law. But if her ex proves she is not telling the truth, wouldn't it be much worst for her?
