Virtual gaming machine with PCI passthrough on Ubuntu 20.04

I have fedora with passthrough with virt manager. Works really well for single player games. Not sure if I can get around anti cheats yet.

It wasn't too difficult to setup, mostly just have to have the right iommu groups.

This is also with an matx board, the msi b550m mortar. Only problem being I don't believe you can isolate the other pci lanes, so I can't give it the wifi card as well (for bt controller)

Somehow, even with these and other guides, it's still a pita to set this up and never seems to work the first few times.

I tried this with UnRaid and I still saw a huuuuge difference in performance (like 50%) running MS FlightSim this way vs booting up natively to Windows on a second NVMe drive.

Something is wrong with the latest stable version of unraid on amd devices. Hyper V doesn't work, qemu logs amd specific instruction errors, and it's slower than it should be

Pretty sure a kernel/kvm /qemu bug of that unraid version, should be fixed with next unraid version, I can't remember unraid beeing that slow a year ago when I played msfs alpha with it, was close to native perf, have same issues since
