I've been hosting with Cooini (formerly U2-Web) for 11 years. I run a few sites through them currently (nothing too heavy anymore. One was a web crawler project that could get pretty intense, though I've had no real issues with it when it was at its peak). Cooini have been updating some of their services and offerings, though the old ones are still in place as well. For example, they added the Plesk control panel, but also still have cPanel if you want a
really old school feel. They're also very affordable.

Their support staff has been incredibly responsive and helpful over the years. Not that I've needed to contact them very often, but I remember posting tickets late at night only to see them resolved within a couple of hours.
They have some help articles for getting started with setting up WordPress, Let's Encrypt, and even choosing the PHP version.
