The First Step Toward Protecting Everyone Else from Teslas

Does anyone look at statistics or actual data when ripping out headlines like this? I'm actually curious.
For example, emergency responder struck by vehicle fatalities SHOULD be a top concern for everyone!
We have good data on these fatalities.

Instead of the outrage machine factory, anyone feel up to actually going through this data and figuring out how many of these fatalities were caused by Tesla's?
Might help get some real data into the conversation.
Could also do 2019's as well 21's, probably get coverage across maybe 130 fatalities?
I'm serious - for folks just tired of the endless outrage / clickbait type stuff - how about a tiny shred of data in the mix.
Or anyone work at an insurance company? Ie, doing bodily injury claims for hit by vehicle? Run the data of Tesla vs other drivers? It just seems we should be able to get some kind of actual data.
Who knows, maybe Teslas are the big risk. Or maybe headline will be protecting folks from tired truck drivers by getting them to use Tesla partial automation.
Saying Tesla "does not block" those things it is misleading. There are safety features to ensure the driver doesn't do those things, which those people were intentionally defeating.
If people intentionally do tricks to beat the pressure sensor (by using their knee or some wild contraption), that’s kind of on them. What do we propose, make Tesla record the interior of the car using a cam that prevents driving every time the camera cannot detect driver paying attention? No, thanks, I dont want to be surveilled on video in my own car.
There is already a reasonable safety check with the steering wheel hand pressure, and if people intentionally trick it, that’s their fault and they should be charged for that with something like reckless driving.
And no, i dont need to be “protected” from buying a Tesla. Even if it didnt have autopilot, i would still buy it again, because it is a really fun and speedy car to drive with minimum maintenance costs. Autopilot is a cherry on top, and if you try to circumvent present safety mechanisms, that’s on you. Especially when the alternative to the existing safety mechanism is video surveillance of the interior of your own vehicle.
