GitHub is okay-ish.
But Office 365? Teams is prob one of the worst apps I use nowadays. It consumes so much memory and cpu you would think it's actually mining crypto.
Outlook is also a joke.
Excel got better IMO.
No strong opinions for other apps.

My Outlook sometimes flickers and instead of showing the email list, it shows the calendar. It only corrects itself after I mouse over
vscode isn't popular for being vscode
there was already atom back in the days
vscode became popular because it was "relatively" "faster" than atom, and was better at being hackable
vscode is now insanely popular due to its ecosystem, the people and their plugins made vscode popular
I do agree Teams is trying to be a jack of all trades master of none at the moment.
It used to be light years ahead of GitHub, but with actions, code spaces, private repos and Jira like stuff being released in GH that's not the case anymore.
IMO you can't go wrong with either GitLab or GitHub nowadays, both are great at what they do.
