It is a nice twist, but I would still consider the title click bait. I like hn for having no click bait.

How about we allow clickbait only on Sundays. Then during the rest of the week we can tell all the submissions with questionable titles to “Save it for Clickbait Sunday.”

Edit: Sigh, I guess I have to add a disclaimer that it's a joke. I should know better by now.

I'd rather have interesting posts like this in moderation, not a free-for-all with lower quality posts.

It was an attempt at humor, just like the tweets in the submission. I was trying to gently poke fun at the fact that some portion of hn will call anything a bit unexpected "clickbait".

No jokes allowed. HN is srs bsns >:(

It's an intellectually-enticing title, but I wouldn't lump it in with "Clickbait" (with a capital 'C').

It's way more interesting than "10 things... , number 4 will shock you!"

It's a sarcastic headline, but you'll get a little chuckle at the end

OTOH, in some sense it truly is pretty important to discover this if you're working in astronomy. At least, I think that if you don't notice it I doubt any of your colleagues will be able to take you seriously. Like a sort of Fizz-Buzz test
