Some people select their password by tracing a pattern on their keyboard. This software generates strings which can be generated by such patterns in a higly comfigurable manner. (It does this presumably to help cracking password hashes.)
Have I got the gist of it right?
One thing is I'm sad this doesn't accounting for actual physical keyboards instead of letters on a square grid.
D to R is much closer than D to W, for example (on a standard qwerty keyboard, typical row slant).
