Copilot Copies Text Verbatim

I was testing Copilot this night. It suggested a simple snippet, which made me a bit suspicious, so I looked it up on GitHub.

The snippet (after "data_folder ="):

   data_folder = "C:/Users/robsc/Documents/NC State/GRAWork/CIData/Output318/"

Although the found code comes from a public repo and is not at all groundbreaking, it does feel a bit creepy for reasons I can't yet articulate.
