"Normal" suggests the status quo. There's nothing new about normal. Yet the phrasing suggests this new paradigm will become normalized.

The CDC described this as the last extension of the moratorium. It reminded me of, "just one more drink".

Last CDC prescribed extension.. Congress could do whatever they wanted (eg extend it indefinitely) It's going to suck no matter who does what. either tenants or landlords are going to be hurting.. or everyone via taxes.

I've had a hard time squaring the unprecedented labor shortages with the continued moratorium. There will always be edge cases, but how can it be that individuals simultaneously can't find employment and employers can't find employees?
