Would love to see if this is actually a thing (already have purchased the package for my M3, otherwise I'd go test it myself). If so, it should be changed, but I can't imagine this is actually how it works as we would have heard of numerous incidents of this occurring accidentally (unless this is a recent change on Tesla's part).
For the sake of completeness, the issue was later "fixed" by the company in the form of a refund

I like how somebody called it "BS" in a tweet reply, but that it occurred was later verified (they were able to cancel it). The tesla fans are a bit overboard.
This was solved by Tesla but I'm curious to know if any car brand has in-car purchases, particularly of functionality?
