Any data is better than no data though, if some products use this to provide accurate change log information then I'm in favor.
Jokes aside, I thing this is a great thing, PWA themselves barely announce when they update, and if you're building a webapp, you can have the changelog announce new features.
I'm unsure but Since this doesn't seem to require you add a changelog everytime you update the WebApp, I feel like the redundant "Bug fixes and performance improvements" can just be swept under the rugs. Ofc this comes at the cost that you might wanna show the (real) current version somewhere for bug reporting.
