I want this. Esp in DSLs. Bonus points for first class support for fragments and so forth.

You can have fragments (and so forth) with Rebol/Red URLs.

For eg.

  >> type? https://www.example.com/foo.html#bar
  == url!
  
  >> type? https://www.example.com/foo.cgi?bar=1&baz=2
  == url!
