Reminds me of YouTube shorts beta. I pay for family premium YouTube mostly for music, but in part because I don't want to see ads. Now I got this tik tok rip-off eye-level on the home screen with no obvious way to disable it. Still working out the logistics of getting away from the service. Definitely feeling some effects of lock-in. Maybe I'll just put that money into a Bandcamp budget for the family or something.. not seeing ads was always a nice-to-have, but I know ways around that.
