I was really surprised to see 60 minutes (Australia) do a special on this a few days ago. Isn’t 60 minutes supposed to do credible journalism and why are they rehashing this topic?
What if they actually went, but added special effects//video was manufactured in some way by intelligence, for the clout?!
After all: we were racing to the moon to see which country was coolest, right?

The new hotness is to claim that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin agreed to fake the moon landing, but they were huge perfectionists, so they demanded that they film the fake moon landing on-site.
Weren't the first humans outside of Earth of course, but a reasonably decent second step nevertheless!
