I didn't realize Blue Origin was so old.

Amazon was little more than a bookstore at that time, ok a really big bookstore, but nothing like the company we know today. SpaceX didn't exist and Elon Musk still had PayPal. The ISS has just been launched and was serviced by the Space Shuttle, Mir was still up there.

That website looked straight out of Geocities (it was a thing back then), I guess it shows the low key approach of Blue Origin, especially when compared to SpaceX hype machine (not a criticism of SpaceX, just pointing out different communication strategies).

Cool to see how this has evolved from a goofy website into something real. Good example of sometimes things take a long time to build.

Pardon my ignorance but was the domain owned by Bezos/Amazon then?
