Ask HN: Have you done a masters conversion degree for software development?

A well ranked university near me runs a masters degree program in software development, which is a conversion program for those who don't have formal software development training or education. It's part time which suits my career. Have you had any experience on a program like this and can offer any advice for someone considering doing one? Thanks
