Yes, censorship is bad, but which is worse: admitting a little bit of censorship, or Islamic Terrorists? Because uh, right now, we have Islamic Terrorists.

At least one was real in the last couple decades.

It is an ironclad fact that more Americans have been killed by right-wing domestic terrorists than by Islamic terrorists since 9/11.

Just to point out… 9/11 is close to 20 years ago now.. society has marched forward quite a bit since then. While that date as a cutoff point is fairly arbitrary there has been a substantial and alarming rise to extremist right violence I’m the last 10 years or so and that can’t just be swept under a rug

That date is not arbitrary. It is selected to optimize the metric.

Even if it were true and even if you didn't set the boundary at "9/11", which is a helluva point in time to stop counting, I'm not sure how that's relevant. Your original post is the classic "yes censorship is bad, but [insert apocalyptic strawman]" style used elsewhere on this thread but more broadly in media to justify a technological crackdown on people saying things they don't like.
