I don't buy it. I think theres a dirty secret that they are using a much cheaper battery with prismatic cells that won't last as many years (or charge cycles) as we've become accustomed to seeing in Tesla batteries.

This won't be apparent at first. The warranty is only covering 70% battery capacity retention over 100,000 miles.
