Without rules, nothing can be accomplished

Nowadays all people in the world talk about the new company culture that emphasizes less control, more freedom, letting people manage themselves, as a way of engaging a team. Fewer and fewer people are emphasizing the rules. It seems like they are outdated, and that you can go very well without rules. I have been there, but I went even further and tried to let my team go without any routine. I didn’t require them to work during normal office hours, or even to come to the office. Doing things without a plan or any milestones. I just focused on the work they generated for me. You get the idea. We tested it on ourselves to the extreme.
