Twitter is shutting down Fleets, its expiring tweets feature

Do people use Spaces and like it?

Feels like if they want to engage more people to participate they need to figure out how to build communities that aren't just hashtags, and make twitter threads/conversations more conversational.

Everything just seems to fragment into a mess anytime there's a discussion... it's still best as a one-way medium, which is why there's more consumers than posters.

Was that feature even deployed globally already? I have never seen a fleet or an option to create one on Twitter.

So it's fulfilling its purpose to be deleted for all time. Fitting.
