My photos are stored in Google Photos. My email is Gmail. My files are in Drive. I use Google Fi for mobile. My map use and my phone location are in Google's servers. Google controls for all intents and purposes Android, and the Play Store. I use Google Docs. I use Duck Duck Go, but also Google Search. I could go on. Google analytics is installed on nearly ever web site. Google controls the premiere ad network, and the most popular web browser in the world. But let's not forget their Chrome OS. All of that is being leveraged, not just its liddle search engine.
