A lot of these were recorded local to my childhood home. The gentleman doing thr voice work also did work for a local radio station. His voice was very faniliar as a result. The voice of the K-Mart guy being on the radio seemed perfectly normal to me. Now I know that's just an artifact of where I grew up.

It reminds me a lot of the TOMT subreddit. People are always posting production quality song recordings that just 'dont exist.'
Just a stark reminder of how much art and music are ephemeral.
Take for example, the HBO shorts that filled the odd minutes between the hours when movies would start, rather then starting them back-to-back (or compressing/editing the film to end on an hour). A few of these gems are on YouTube, but the rest have been lost. Fortunately some people saved long VHS recordings of the inbetween moments.
