Jesus Christ, I feel like quoting almost every line of this rant. Nothing has changed in the years since this article. My disillusionment with technology has gotten to the point that I've basically stopped programming entirely and am seriously considering a change in careers just to get away from all the broken, slow, user-hostile garbage that I have to work with daily. Not to mention the attitudes of the children who make this shit and proclaim its greatness and always have inane excuses why things can't be better.
