I'm not a Musk apologist, but it's not like the guy hasn't delivered things. Tesla is a success. Space X is probably a bigger success. Even if he stopped after Paypal, the guy has accomplished things.

People forget how many deadlines Apple missed under Steve Jobs. But he still delivered a lot of great shit.

These gotcha articles paint Elon as a Charles Ponzi type charlatan, while at the same time, his rockets successfully fulfill all of NASA's contract work.

At selling carbon credits. The cars are junk. It amazes me that people buy these luxury vehicles and get uneven paneling and mismatched paint, or worse, serious drive train defects, and put up with shoddy customer support including outright lying. Every time I hear one of them say its the best car they have ever owned, I am thinking they must have only owned Fiats or Yugos.
