I can't see the harm in teaching teenagers the geographic impact of climate change:

Is it so outlandish to talk about these long term realities? Can students not be instructed that this is not a justification, but rather an anticipated adjustment?

Yes it is because it is clearly mentioned in the article that the pros and cons were shown in a way that seemed equally important. This is fuel for conspiracy theorists who are always looking to brainwash children.

Will we gain any (fertile) land when ice melts? I sometimes think of an Antartic Utopia from climate refugees all over the world.

Topsoil accumulates at the rate of about 2.5 cm/century. The rich farming soils of North America and Europe are the end result of 10,000 years of natural formation since the last northern glaciation.

Any exposed Antarctic landmass will be naked sterile rock, at high latitudes, lacking any sunlight for much of the year.

This is, of course, crazy. But I kinda appreciate it. The climate tipping point has come and gone, and having a small break from the endless predictions of doom is quite refreshing.

Well, climates settled science lost their credibility already when ice age they predicted in 1970s didn't happen. Instead, the temperature trend reversed so they took U-turn and appeared again, now with «global warming». And... managed to lose credibility again with Climategate (forged data scandal) and had to rebrand to «climate change», the current agenda. So, in total, right now we have the THIRD round of climate hoax.

The claim that 97% of scientists agree on the cause of global warming is inaccurate. The research on 11,944 studies actually found that only 3,974 even expressed a view on the issue. Of those, just 64 (1.6%) said humans are the main cause.
