I could say the same about my Haswell E3-1276 (4th-generation). I play demanding games at 2K or 4K and use some professional apps without skipping a beat. I think Haswell and beyond are sometimes under appreciated in a world where CPUs slowly tick upwards every year. :)
But honestly I was a bit sad it hadn't become hopelessly obsolete.
I get it, for everyday use, it doesn't matter, but when your standing up a bunch of docker containers running a bunch of networked apps, it's a game changer.
I get that CPUs were moving at a snails pace before but AMD really shook things up with the 3000 and now 5000 series.
Very happy with the upgrade
