Ask HN: Why does Microsoft bundle a cheating tool with MS Edge?

Original blog announcement from May 21:

https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2021/05/21/preview-microsoft-math-solver-microsoft-edge/

From the linked article: We are rolling this out as a preview feature, and are still exploring the possibility of including the feature permanently in the future. Our goal with including Microsoft Math Solver in Microsoft Edge is to bring more equity in learning by democratizing math learning for students who need help but are unable to get access to help.

If that's cheating then so is calc.exe
