I'd file this under Hanlon's razor. It would be very odd for the FBI to conduct a raid in a way that made everything they found inadmissible in court.

Maybe they didn't care whether it went to the court or not? Maybe the aim was to scare the bejesus out of the victims, and they achieved that goal?
