I know HN hates one word but comments but I'm having trouble coming up with more than "wow" right now. My sentiment towards security theater just went from annoyed to profoundly concerned.
If it makes you feel any better, the ease with which something like this could be pulled off, and the fact that no one has tried it, combine to make me believe that the terror threat is vastly overblown to begin with.
