Need dev help to expand our free tutoring project
We provide free, on-demand math tutoring to K12 students on zoom. We've had 600 kids and 500 volunteer tutors go through the program. As you may have heard existing learning disparities have been hugely exacerbated by Covid. It's been an invaluable resources to families who can't afford private tutoring, esp as we offer it in English and Spanish. We are at a point now where it's really tricky to meet rising demand scale this project without some tech help. We're a teacher (me), pre-med student (Julie) and math major (Elvin) so unfortunately we can't build it ourselves.
Wondering if there's a generous soul or two who could help us with two projects that would enable to scale this platform to reach thousands more kids.
We especially need support with two main projects. (Pardon me in advance if I'm not using the correct technical terminology)
1) Tag/label users as tutor or student on zoom and automate one-on-one breakout rooms so each has a tutor and student: Integrate with zoom to label tutors as tutors and students as students and automate breakout rooms so we don't have to do this manually. This would allow us to tutor many more kids at a time.
2) Build a KPI dashboard that's integrated with zoom and helps us to correlate student progress with tutors/attendance/retention etc. This is also critical to make sure we're serving the kids who need us most. Not only will this help us improve our program, but it will be invaluable to present to schools, government partners and foundations.
All of us (the three co-founders) are volunteers.
If you have the skills to do one or two of these projects or know someone who might, or if you might be willing to lend resources from your company, please contact me at manisha@masteryhour.org

BTW, this is a non-profit project. We have a fiscal Sponsor https://opencollective.com/masteryhour
