Here Comes the Law

it should not have come to that. we should not have wasted more than a decade in rewarding business models that immediately feel misguided to any thinking person. but it is better late than never.

the details of the laws don't really matter, imho. the protracted battles to dilute, push back, delay etc any monetary impact and inconvenience on incumbents and vested interests are a given. and sad.

what really matters is that people sitting on the fence might get motivated by legislative activity to explore less troubling visions and designs for the digital society and economy.

break the spell that there is no alternative.
